i love the cave scene also. another reason is because the CGI actually looked decent in that scene.

I thought most of the CGI was consistent...meh. thats just me. Im at the part where Abom and Hulk duke it out and Abom says "Now watch her die!"

CHECK IT OUT!!!

I posted a link to this last week. Yourgeeknews.com reviewed The Incredible Hulk DVD and offered viewers to leave comments on which they preferred...the '03 or '08 film. They would select their favorite comment within a week, and that poster would win a free 3-disk DVD of TIH.

Well, Matt emailed me today saying that my comments were their favorite, so now the DVD is on it's way to me!! That's pretty cool. I already have the movie, but it's still pretty awesome that they selected my comments. I guess I've had a lot of practice on this topic on these boards!

damn congratulations. what are you gonna do with the extra copy? ebay?

Does anyone know how much the 2003 Hulk sold on DVD? Just for comparison sake.

the watter on hulk sels the scene IMO.
i think this was really groundbreaking for CGI. i dont remember ever seaing a 100% wet CGI creature where the watter is moving on hes body.
it was really amazing.

definitly, it really did feel like it was legit and that they actually had something soaking wet for that scene

In my opinion, R&H could have done even better. They didn't have enough time to get the CGI for the whole film done. In some scenes the CGI is amazing, others it is just okay or in others it is poor. Marvel just wanted too much in too little time. They rushed everything in this film, production, etc..

oh and I bought a portable dvd player. Sweet. Testing it out with TIH. Pretty awesome if you ask me. The image quality is pretty decent and the sound isn't all that bad, which I think is pretty decent too.

After watching this movie a 9th time, I thought about it, if this is a part one for hulk, it’s the 1st time they did a whole story about how the bad guys get their powers and not get killed at the end, instead of how hulk got his. Leader and Abombs origin story.

^ ya know, I think i understand what ur saying.

It was great. And the lighting...really did help give that shout out to Hulk:Gray issue 4. Just some of the close ups on his back was great, the CG of his muscles was really convincing.:bh:

I noticed the other day that during the cave scene after Betty has calmed the Hulk down and they are sitting watching the rain, that the Hulk shivers a little. Very realistic.

... yeah... I noticed that before hand when I first the movie. The entire cave scene is my fave moment between Betty and Hulk.

For me it was the silent exchanges they shared during the haircut scene. Very convincing.
