^^ So roughly we're talking about close to 50-60 million in sales for that Tuesday? Maybe less?

I love this movie and this Blu-Ray, but it'd be nice if they included trailers with the movie. FOX and Universal could learn a thing or two from each other.

FOX could actually start putting extras on the Blu-Ray besides trailers and it'd be cool if Universal would add trailers to their discs.

Sorry, I just like to watch trailers with home discs.

I'm hoping that its sales are at least on par with Iron Man's if not more but I can't find one update about its progress.

three million copies is pretty disappointing, IM sold more than twice that. Even BB sold more in its first week.

IM was popular in the theaters form the beginnig.
BB had good word of mouth. so of course people jumped when the dvd came out.

I'm hoping that the same will catapult TIH in sales. Since its release on dvd, I've heard more good word of mouth from those who were on the fence with it than bad.

Huge returns can only tell Marvel that many of us desire a sequel...and not 6-9 years from now either. Of course that's just wishful thinking on my part.

DVD sales is what got the 2004 Punisher another shot

Here is a pretty good review of what is available on the DVD, although I still do not agree that those deleted scenes would have lent much to the film.

I am starting to think that part of why this film is not given enough credt is that it came out between two of the best comic book films of all time. Iron Man and Dark Knight are giants and it's easy to be overshadowed. Had this movie come out last year along with Ghost Rider, FF2 and Spider-man 3 (admit it. It was disapointing.) it would have been considered the best of the bunch.

^^Cool review. I have to say that I agree with them about TiH has "two different releases". If the deleted scenes were incorporated as they were suppose to be, then the tone would become that much more endearing to me. I still don't think however that TiH cost $150 million. Marvel clearly states that the movie made money (I'm sure they are including the international box office). They will probably make a ton more on DVD.

From the main page:

Universal's The Incredible Hulk debuted at No. 1 on all three charts last week.

The summer theatrical hit bumped the previous week's winner, Paramount's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, to the No. 2 position on all three charts.

"Hulk" handily took the top spot on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart for the week ending Oct. 26, selling more than four times as many copies as the next-highest-ranked debutante, The Strangers, also from Universal, which bowed at No. 3.

"Hulk" also topped Home Media Magazine's video rental chart for the week ending Oct. 26, though in rental stores it only generated about twice as many transactions as did "Strangers," which also bowed at No. 3.

"Hulk" scored its third win on the Nielsen VideoScan Blu-ray Disc chart.

Can I have my extended version now, please? :woot:

Good news so far, hope it keeps up, but I do want to know the total number. Not the amount more than the one in 2nd place.

I AM SOOOOO STOKED THAT TIH IS DOING SO WELL ON DVD AND BLU-RAY, IT DESERVES IT, FREAKING AWESOME, I HOPE THIS CONVINCES MARVEL AND ITS PARTNERS TO GO AHEAD WITH TIH2, HERE'S HOPING!!!:D:up:

Great to hear it's doing so well on DVD and Blu-Ray!

:bh:

It´s GREAT news that the movie is selling high on DVD. This shows the movie pleased the audience that went to see it in theaters, and that it´s been successful in rebuilding audience interest in the franchise, and bodes very well for the prospects of a sequel, even if it didn´t make huge numbers in the theatrical release.

Finally this movie is getting some of the success it deserves!! Bring on the sequel now!!

I need to catch up with this thread but.. did anyone here buy the Incredible Hulk dvd..?
