Infinite Crisis question

Myabe it's because I'm new to crossover, but I'm a little lost here:

1) I saw a lot of comics with the "Infinite Crisis crossover" label. Shouldn't these be part of an IC colletion?

2) Does the INFINITE CRISIS COMPANION book have the four stories in chronological order?

1). No. Why? Because most of those are actually pretty pointless to the overall story (as are most crossover issues). But, thankfully, the ones that are actually pretty important have been collected. Superman: Sacrifice and Superman: Infinite Crisis are the two that spring to mind.

2). I dunno about this one. I only ended up getting one of those four issues. The companion TPB has always confused me a bit as those stories take place during the middle of IC. So to read everything in order, you'd have to read it inbetween the main issues of IC. So it's pretty confusing, yeah.
