Disappointed about Spidey's apparent absence, but Carol Danvers' confirmation kind of makes up for it.

Oh well. In any case, Spider-Man or not, this thing is gonna be freaking huge.

I'm not 100% certain that list is legit or, if it is, complete. It's missing too many characters.

Wait I'm only now noticing that the casting call is supposed to be for both IW movies... no way Marvel Studios would leave Spider-Man out of their Big Cinematic Event. So yeah, I agree that the list is either incomplete or fake.

I can see Rhodey being MIA due to his injuries, but no Sam? Why the heck would you keep Anthony Mackie on the sidelines?

It should be noted these casting calls are rarely done by the actual studio and often contain a lot of inaccuracies or speculation.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure all those people WILL be in the movie, I just really doubt this is an official Marvel casting call. They usually do announcements like this on Marvel.com.

It said specifically, that casting list is for the first movie only: " Starring in “Avengers: Infinity War” is".

We already know certain people will be in the second movie but not the first so if this is somehow legit it may not be far off.

It actually does! Fantastic reading comprehension skills, me. :o

With all the award/nominee listing I thought this list was a joke at first but I'm glad it's real and to have so many characters confirmed.

This is going to be a gruelling shoot, especially for Chadwick Boseman. They all better make the most of and enjoy whatever time off they have because in about 2 to 3 weeks, a year long shooting schedule commences.

I wonder if they are shooting A3-4 with BP and CM movies at the same time.

If Spider-Man is not in the movie then I just give up on life.

yeah everyone can enhance their calm, this is just some fan made nonsense.... semi-accurate nonsense, but still

Instead off 25-40 characters why not do ten and allow character development?

If there's one movie that should be allowed to prioritize spectacle over character development, it's this one.

Character development is mostly relegated to the solo films but even the ensemble films manage to give most of the heroes moments to shine. Markus & McFeely are experts at juggling big casts at this point.

As long as a character is well defined with believable feelings and motivation, development or an "arc" isn't strictly necessary.

Civil War already had more than that lol.

The ideal would of course be to have one character only to allow maximum character development, till that character has character development coming out of his/her ass and eventually dies of a character development overdose.

The three characters who will get the most development in this movie will be Scarlet Witch, Vision, and Thanos. Ant-Man will just have a glorified cameo. Doctor Strange will be considered an ally of the Avengers and will help the Scarlet Witch expand her powers, but will not formally become an Avenger. Black Panther will become a member of the team. Don't be surprised if Black Widow's screen time is less than that of Scarlet Witch.

Lemme read that copy of the script.

Particularly given certain revelations in his movie.

Infinity War could be the comic book equivalent of "All is Lost" starring only Robert Redford where he's lost at sea, and which also has very few spoken words. :o
