Infinity War Speculate on the 67 characters set to appear?

That's like Marvel making a second Civil War movie just to give Iron Man's perspective. It would be completely unnecessary since Marvel could easily accomplish that within the Captain America movie.

The Avengers are in the movie, obviously, but wouldn't be around as much as you normally see them. Thanos should have a TON of screen time in this movie.

This first film should show more Thanos and less Avengers, while the 2nd film should be more Avengers, less Thanos. If they treat him like they have nearly every other villain in the MCU, then what's been the point of building him up?

The end of the first film is not gonna end with lollipops and rainbows. So I'm expecting to see more of the villain than I am of all the heroes. I also expect the ending of the first film will be Thanos with all the Infinity Stones. Almost reminds me of Voldemort retrieving the Elder Wand at the end of Harry Potter ATDH P1

I think you can narrow the list down to 30-40 that you know are going to appear. The rest will come in time through other movies and rumors. I think we could see Peggy Carter back somehow. With the Infinity Stones, anything is possible.

Please no. She's already been shoehorned into every possible MCU project.

I think the first part should be a Thanos origin story told through flashbacks; either by Adam Warlock telling it to the Guardians or Thanos to Loki (Mephisto's replacement in the story).

Meanwhile, Dr Strange and Black Panther know that Thanos is coming for the last stone(s) and forms a team of Avengers with no original members besides Hawkeye. The team gets their asses kicked by Thanos, but he doesn't kill any of them besides Vision because they're meaningless once he has the stone. The Guardians arrive on Earth just in time to find the Avengers all beaten up. Then end the movie with Thanos doing the infamous snap.

So with the 67 characters rumor being just an exaggeration, I gotta say that 67 characters would be spectacular, albeit very difficult to direct/write

Every surviving major hero is a definite must-have (Guardians included)

I think they are going to have to introduce at least one or two of the Royal Inhumans- probably Crystal, Medusa and/or Black Bolt. With the Inhumans moving set to come out a few month after IW 2 it would be stupid of them not to.

I just REALLY hope they can do a deal with Fox to get the Silver Surfer and Galactus in there, that and the Defenders appear.

I think the primary Avengers and the Guardians will be in for sure. Same with Zemo, Nick Fury, and Maria Hill. I don't believe the TV characters will make it in, and I'm fine with that. If someone does, I hope it's Coulson so the other Avengers see he's alive.

If a dead character comes back, I hope it's Quicksilver.

Thats only 27. Maybe all of those except for Venom and Goblin. Lot of people have been expecting Symbiote Peter to debut in IW. It'd be a dteam for Nova to appear but he'd basically be a male Captain Marvel. Ultron is dead..or maybe uploaded to a computer somewhere. Ronan is definately dead. Iron Fist raises the question of if the Defenders will appear with him? Maybe. Definately a possibility. Fury will probably have one last appearance in IW. Same for Loki, regardless of what role he plays.

I mean, I still get the feeling that since this is what the MCU has been building up to. Every character who has ever had any sort of importance within the context of the MCU from TV to Film will have atleast a breif cameo. Even if its in a montage showing them all looking up into space hoping the heroes provial over Thanos.

Wonderful, Netflix, TV and Film, theres not a single character there missing. If Cloak and Dagger makes it out hopefully they add them too.

I remember these are probably both 2 and a half hour films. Thats 5 hours of story telling time. Maybe more if Captain Marvel and Ant-Man and Wasp take place in between as a kind of filler. Even more if BP sevrves as a kind of prequel as they have stated it will set up IW.
