Intelligence, Privilege or gift?

Maybe this is to show how much Ock has changed throughout the lenght of the movie. It shows how Ock used to channel his talents in helping humanity now only using them to help himself.

It's a responsibility despite what the Lucky Sperm Club wants to believe.

I'm not gonna try to defend it. I agree with Mr 7000+ about the writing in general . . . but, we look for our characters in movies to make some kind of journey during the film; after what Ock had been through and realised during the film maybe would have changed his views and his beliefs.

Possibly, but i think its just a mistake in the movie, i noticed it very early on but never mentioned it because all movies have them :yay: .

I was always confused as to what the big difference is supposed to be between a privilege and a gift.

It means that intelligence is not something you're just lucky to have, it's a gift given to you and you should use it to help others.

Could care less. Doesn't bother me at all, i probably wont even notice it either on further viewings.

Oh and Mr. 7000+ if lines of dialogue bothers you so much, get a life.

And the reward for the most ignorant post goes to…xGambit420x! Congratulations! :whatever:

But of course it is only appropriate for it to come from someone who quote's the simpson's movie in their signature. :oldrazz:

Cause its ignorant to think that there are worse things in this world, then faulty dialogue in a movie?

Oh and that insult makes no sense, how does being a fan of The Simpsons Movie make me ignorant Mr. Spider-X-Treme? if that is your real name.

Ok then, let’s examine it, shall we?
First of all:
Could care less. Doesn't bother me at all, i probably wont even notice it either on further viewings.
So, what do you want to tell us by that? That you are attention deficient? It’s not a piece of furniture in the background; it’s a piece of dialogue. If it doesn’t bother you, its fine by me but it’s still there and it’s hard to miss…just like a pimple. That was a strange use of words from your part.
But that’s besides my main point:
Cause its ignorant to think that there are worse things in this world, then faulty dialogue in a movie?
But this is not about you. How can you put your own levels of importance to things from someone else’s point of view?
Oh and Mr. 7000+ if lines of dialogue bothers you so much, get a life.
I’m sure Mr. 7000+ can take care of himself in these kinds of situations, call me nosy, but how can you judge his life, or the lack thereof, simply because he doesn’t like a particular line from a movie? Now that’s ignorant and insulting.
Oh and that insult makes no sense, how does being a fan of The Simpsons Movie make me ignorant Mr. Spider-X-Treme? if that is your real name.
I’m sorry that you took that as insult. That one was also besides my point - just a deduction of your lightheadedness.
And Spider-X will suffice. ;)

First of all, I find it ironic that you tell me to get a life by replying to me based on, comments that are more than a month old. Secondly, I have a very satisfying life. However, trying to insult me just because I have the mental capacity to be aware of blatant errors in a movie, is just pathetic on your part. Like spidey extreme already stated, all you've done is showcase your ignorance.:whatever: :o

What the heck are you talking about? Who said there wasn't worse things in the world? You're acting like the world is about to end, and someone is spending their last few minutes on earth talking about movie errors.

This is a movie discussion forum. And, guess what you do here: discuss movies *GASP*

I've noticed a trend in your posts around here XGambit. You rag on anyone who makes any kind of negative remark about the Spidey movies. You even complained about people stating they won't be buying the Spider-Man 3 DVD lol.

These forums are for people to express their opinions. Positive and negative. If you don't like that, then you should leave. Because it's not going to change.

This flaw in Ock's dialogue here doesn't bother me, either. Because, I never really noticed it until it was brought up. But, just because it doesn't bother me, and it does other people, doesn't mean I'm going to insult them and tell them to get a life etc.

It's their friggin' right to dislike something. Who am I to insult them over it? It's just a movie!!!

I never noticed this. Doesn't bother me though.

I always found weird this "gift or privilege" thing...a little movie mistake I suppose, it does'nt bother me that much tough.

It never annoys me, seeing as when he says "A privilege" it just seems to me like he is remembering what he has said, he's not saying it's a privilege.

When he says "Privilege", I figured he was just remembering the conversation and the general idea of it. He was dazed and out of it, so I let it slip, lol.
