Internet Cafes and External Hard Drives

    I've never been to an Internet cafe. Question: Do they let you bring your own external hard drive that requires external power and use it with their computers? I live in New York.

    I think that is an option but not one I would recommend. Plugging anything you own into a public computer like that is just asking for malware, hacking, theft, or some other bad thing to happen to your equipment.
