ipod help

i recently got a 30gb video ipod, and i have a playlist on it that i want to transfer to my itunes on my pc but it wont let me anyone have any ideas

there are over a 1000 songs on it and i dont want to have to recreate the playlist

I pretty sure you can't take items off of one iPod and place them on a different itunes function. It's probably due to copyright laws and such.

But, there is always some third party software out there to take care of the problem.

thought so its kind of stupid, i put the song on the ipod from the pc, so i should be able to put them back
