Since it's almost the month of Saint Patrick and there's a head count on who's black, it's time to see who's Irish. So hands up ****ers and watch my leprechaun dance. :cmad:

I have Scotch-Irish (Ulster-Scots) ancestors. So I probably have some Irish, but can't prove it.

I'm a quarter Irish, so I guess that doesn't count.

It would make sence that a decent amount of Americans would say they are.The Irish was one of the first non English groups to come to America after the Great Potato fammine in the 1800`s,im also not Irish and im not the only one to vote that on the poll.

I'm part Polish, but mostly just Cracker. :csad:

I'm Spanish and Irish.
When being Spanish suits me, I'll claim it.
When being Irish suits me, I'll claim that.
Being Irish suits me right now.
I'm Irish.

I like Irish stuff just fine.
I like harps.
Red headed Irish girls with a flagon of Irish whiskey would have zero problems getting onto my lap. (if I still drank) They'd have negative 40,000 problems doing it.

But I'll tell you what...this Irish blessing sucks ass.

May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

TOO MANY SYLLABLES IN THE LAST FREAKING LINE, IDIOTS! :cmad:
Gawd! :whatever:

I'm a mutt with some English, German, Spanish, Italian and even Cherokee and African-American blood running through my veins. But, I'm 80% Scotch-Irish and identify as such.

I'm half-Irish. St. Patty's Day is one of my favorite holidays, living in Chicago I've got two parades I go to over St. Patty's Day weekend. Although I'm not sure if I'll make it this year, drinking that much over two days during the morning/afternoon isn't quite as easy anymore.

There's like 3 threads on black history month and like 5 posts in this one. Wtf? Not enough Bostonians or Chicagoans here? :cmad: :csad:

My father's side of the family originated in Ireland. :woot:

I'm an Irishman and damn proud of it.

Because blacks are minorties and they feel like they have to speak to be known, the Irish on the other hand have done many, many great things for America.People know this,so this does not really have to be mentioned.

I'm not Irish but I enjoy and love many things Irish.

My gf is Irish, Black and Hispanic.
My best friend is Irish.
I love Lucky Charms.
I drink Guinness.
I love Shepard's Pie.
I uh....like the Dropkick Murphys?

I love my heritage and everything, but really, what have the Irish done for America that everyone knows about?

I know that. I want to stir up some controversy. I'm bored. :csad:

You're like the European division of dmp07 lately.

At any rate, the Irish have long been treated very poorly both in Europe and here in the States. To the point that I've heard them referred to as "the blacks of Europe", as racist as that sounds. The atrocities committed against the Irish people are numerous and horrendous.
