Iron chef pot leaf!!

i was watching an episode of Iron Chef Japan of which i am a fan and have been watching since before food network created iron chef ******o (OF WHICH I AM CERTAIN MARIO BATALI HAS RIGGED)

anyway it was the episode with the giant eel battle and when they were tasting morimotos dishes one of which was a melon jelly and BOOM he garnished it with pot leaves. believe it or not but they really liked the taste, said the eel gave it a pleasant bitterness

Yes, believe it or not, many countries are not frightened to death of pot like America is.

yeah but like is it acceptable enough to just throw it on some food as a garnish. plus i thought drug punishment was harder in japan

I barely now anything about it, but I don't think you can get high from a leaf.

its just funny that he garnished with a pot leaf and not oregano or something considering all the ingredients that are at his disposal
