Iron Fist and Ghost Rider Announcements Coming Soon

Who's been hearing about that? The idea of Marvel doing full-size comics for $1.99 seems pretty outlandish to me at this point.

No... I meant both characters would have relaunched books @ $1.99...

With the 20k - 25k readership that would buy it regardless, you might have an increase of readers picking it up from mild curiosity/cheaper cover price... hence giving the characters more exposure, and opening up the door for Disney Marvel to create licencing products for these well known C/B listers...

Though I'm thinking that it'll be a $3.99 or a $4.99 book with 40+ pages featuring both characters sharing the page load... that way, you still get one comic for 2 bucks (or 2.50) and if each character can pull in 20k readership, assuming that neither buys the other book, then you hve a potential for a solid 40k readership with half of them either not reading the other character or with half of them being introduced to newer Marvel characters they never read before...

I just want Iron Fist back the way it was before Bru, Fraction and Aja left. #16 was the best issue.

Actually they're combining them into "Ghost Fist". It's a completely new angle...

They had to change it from Iron Rider after a surprisingly high interest among fetish enthusiasts

To be honest, the only Iron Fist comic I read was in the old Marvel Comics Presents (which featured GR on the flip side). If they put them in one comic again, I wouldn't mind subscribing to it...I just hope the quality of art and writing is up to par with a stand alone comic.
