The dude trashed the first game, and didn't try to feed us a **** sandwich.

I'm cautious, but...optimistic. It being an original story is a huge plus going for it, too.

IW is forever tied with Call of Duty until they break free of Activision's stranglehold. Activision will never let them off of CoD.

Yea, i dont expect a lot but im not ready to say this game will suck, nor am i ready to say its gonna be worth a play. I keep going back to Wolverine because when that game was first announced ppl were saying the exact same thing. 'Oh its gonna suck because its tied in with the film'. Well, that game ended up being pretty damn fun. Im not saying i expect this to be as good a game, but like you said, having it be an original story is huge. Now, at least, we arent guranteed a sloppy story that follows a film. The one thing that you can always bank on with movie tie ins is that the story will just suck, i mean as fun as Wolverine was, the story was terrible.

Like you, im going in cautious but i think there is some room there for the game to be fun. Guess we will find out in like what, 9 months?

All I know is that this year two movie games got decent to excellent reviews (Wolverine and Transformers 2) and if 50 Cent can get a game that went from being skewered by the critics to a sequel that's been praised by those same critics, then there's hope for this game.

To be Honest I haven't played it all that much, It sort of got lost in the shuffle of all the great games that were coming out at the time, but I'll finish it before part 2 comes out, I'm a sucker for comicbook based games!!!up:
