anybody know if Downey will voice Tony Stark in the planned Iron Man video game?

maybe if its in his contract

I believe the designer's said they got the entire cast to do voice work on the game, it looks fantastic, it's a must have for me.

Iron Man is one of my favorite comic book characters. The original story was about a man named Tony Stark, who inherited Stark Industries from his father and left for Vietnam to supervise a weapons test. Taking place during the war, Stark would suffer a wound in his chest who would be later captured, makes a deal to build a new suit while sharing technology with his captors in order to survive from his wound, ends up back to the US while redesigning a chest place for himself and eventually becoming the Iron Man we may all love or know nothing about.

so, uh, any news on the game updated? haven't heard anything.. hope it turns out to be good...

Yeah, they're doing the voices and such.

Anyone download or otherwise play the Demo yet? It's okay, I just dont like the directinal controls. But it really does remind me of the Superman Returns game.

Yeah, was playing it again earlier. Really not digging how he fly's, it's kinda weird to get a handle on.

Invert the Y-axis. Makes a world of difference. Still not perfect, but a big improvement.

I own this game on X360...

I've finished it already but i'm going to play through with each armour...

Cause i like it :)

Can anybody tell me how you actually defeat the Stark Carrier copter at the end of the flight training level after you have all of the ground troops and other choppers you defeat then comes out the Stark carrier and I have tried to use everything I can to destroy it but no luck :(

Just keep dodging missiles and use your own to blast the carrier. It takes a while, but nothing in this game was difficult.

I'm pretty pissed to have spent 60 bucks on it actually. Every level is the same old **** over and over again. All the enemies are defeated the same way except for Iron Monger who isn't much of a challenge once you figure out how to topple him.

****, the game was short as hell too! Here's to them hopefully making more levels downloadable.

I like the game, but it reminded me a bit too much of Superman Returns (the game) and the controls were pretty sloppy. The lack of a target lock-on had me really disappointed, and the upgrades weren't very effective at all. I'm not going to run back to the Gamestop to take it back, but I'd probably rent it if you don't have the extra cash to spend.

I'd give it a 6/10.

Where the heck is the PC version of this game?

Everywhere online says "Pre-Order" but it was supposed to come out yesterday. Anyone see it in stores?

I was looking into this too as I think it's supposed to be out here in the UK next week.
According to IGN the PC version has been put on "indefinite hold", most likely as the release they apparently had lined up was no more than a port of the PS2 version!!

And a review of what they apparently were going to release (and still might for all I know) ...http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/872/872240p1.html

Those graphics suck majorly. Why does the PC get lame visuals like the Wii/PS2 version when it's capable of the nicer stuff that's on the PS3 and 360???

I really hope they redesign this!

My disdain for this game grows every time I play it. My biggest complaints is that there are WAY too many enemies on screen at a time, and the controls (namely the lack of a lock-on mechanism) are pretty bad.

It's fun to play is Iron Man and fly around, but it's not fun to have the screen filled with enemies all firing missiles at you.

It's a definite renter.

I finally gave in and started from the begining at easy. I didn't know you could replay levels and earn more money to upgrade your suit. Otherwise I would've done that.

But at least I'm not hating this game like I was last week, it's actually more enjoyable when you get upgrades and can defend yourself more from the constant bombardment of missles and enemies.

Is it ridiculously easy though? That's the only thing I want to avoid. Medium is nuts, I can only imagine what hard is like.

Too much going on in the game at one time. I'm sure it sounded like a good idea when they first pitched it, but the execution is pretty bad. None of the upgrades are that substantial either.

I wouldn't call it ridiculously easy, but I haven't thrown my contoller or cursed at this game.

I want to beat it in easy to unlock the Achievements and get a feel for the levels before I try it in normal and again in hard.
