Where I live this is not an easy thing to do. I make a decent pay for a part time job anyways with little interaction with idiots so I'm not complaining.

I was on Mark Warner's senate campaign at that point, a few months after I left the Senate. Since he was up by 30 points and was going to win, the staff proposed cutting a bunch of positions and I volunteered to leave due to the hecticness of juggling work with school. So I served as a volunteer sporadically between September and November.
