Is AOL Dead?

I mean i dont see anymore AOL comercials.. I havent seen any AOL CDS in the mail or at the mall...and just to make sure i went on the AOL website, and it looks like its down....has....has it happend??...is...is it dead! t:

But it is awesome. You can actually hear the desperation in the rep's voice. At AOL, one man's money does make a difference.

AOL would have to pay me to use their crap again...the only thing i ever really liked of theirs was the chatrooms and that got boring quick.

AOL isn't dead. They've just completely changed. They want to move into the broadband world and offering software CDs like they used to is part of the past. They want to be more like Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

They're mostly going to live off of the now free e-mails, Moviefone, Mapquest, AIM, and advertisements.

I doubt it will happen. AOL is trying to mostly get out of the dial-up service in order to survive.
