Yeah, it was a twelve issue mini, not an ongoing.
It was damn good though, and I hope that Kelly gets to write another mini staring the Elite in the future.

It appealed to me in so many ways as a long time fan and a current reader.

I loved that Raven was an analogy for Apache Cheif and I loved the adult themes and character development

still one of my fav stories and one i often recomend to new readers to get into the 'larger' dcu. as well as the 12 issue mini, they're seen a one of the JLA secret files.

JL: Elite f***ing rocked. Manitou Raven was a complete badass, and the Kasumi reveal was amazing.

That mini gave me a newfound love for Major Disaster. God, how I crave another Major Disaster fix.

Yup, it was only a mini. Like many of the other people have said, it was awesome. The reveal of who Kasumi was is millions of times better than what Marvel tried to do with Ronin. It'd be awesome if we could see them again, but I think the team was disbanded and some of the characters are already being used somewhere else. I wouldn't mind if a certain high ranking official from Checkmate had a secret team to help him out once in a while and I'm not talking about Amanda and the SS.
