Do we have any comments about that from the preducers and do we know that he will be one of the strongest transformers in the movie or he will be just added to fill up some time?If he dies soon in the movie it will probably be a big failure.I hope we see some really nice feats of strenght from him like knocking sky scrappers or smashing everything in its path
I guess Devastator won't last long in the movie, he's just some "eye-candy". Fallen is definitely the major villian.
and he's gonna be the winner at the end, Prime is probably gonna die, and rest few survived autobots is gonna take hide and strikes back in Transformers 3

prime can't die yet. they still need to introduce all the tformers like ultra magnus, hotrod, hound, kup, prowl, and even daniel.
but i wouldn't mind if they went in a different direction than the animated series. i mean watching prowl, ironhide, and prime die all at the beginning of the movie wasn't all that cool.
idk that theyd set it up for number 3 cuz Bay's said he wants to take a year off before doing another and he wouldnt say that if he set himself up to have to make another film.
I'd love for them to hand it over to another director for the 3rd. Look at how the original Star Wars trilogy was handled by different minds, plus the Harry Potter franchise... it's healthy.

Mmark, seriously, don't go saying that cause none of it is true, its just some silly speculation thats been started and your writing it as fact...Bay stated long from the start the optimus and bumblebee will not die in this franchise, he also made an off hand comment on the animated movie and how much he hated it, mostly for Prime's death. Also Bay stated, this film will be a standalone, it will not be designed so a sequel needs to be made, so by your logic, if prime did die in this film, that would be it for him, since bay may not neccessarily continue on a third especially if this bombs. I'm not argueing that prime wont die at all, i do know
that prime gets majorly screwed and the army is sent in to protect him and retrieve him in the forest (where the clip of him getting his face smashed in happens)
Btw, the ending is pretty much been assumed by some leeked photos from the transformers set

sorry if i came off rude
Um i wasn't the one that assumed it, its been speculated by transformers live action movie blog and a couple other sites
here it is, though it doesnt give u much just an idea
When they were shooting transformers: revenge of the fallen at the college for Sam, they shot two scenes of Sam meeting Mikaela, both scenes suggest a shift in time suggesting that one scene occurs at the start of the film, and the other at the end. So the theory is, the Autobots win(no surprise) everything goes back to normal, or as much as possible and sam goes back to college as normal, and i think mikeala's life become better or something...dunno she rocks up with a motor bike at the end, possibly arcee so yeah, everything ends up fine in the film :P
This also supports what bay said at the start b4 shooting that film will be shot as a standalone so that you don't need to see a sequel afterwards and so forth.

Huh...so Sam and Mikaela (unsurprisingly)make it to the end and it is assumed the film ends well. Here I was thinking what happened to the Autobots should decide if the film ends well not the humans....wonder what put that thought into my head?
The ending may be debatable as to whether it is happy or not....look at Terminator 2 (T-800 dies) and Lord of the Rings (Frodo and Gandalf having to leave Middle Earth). The tone of Transformers is set by more than just Sam and Mikaela.

Exactly right. Even if Mikaela and Sam end up perfectly fine by the end of the film we still don't know the fate of the Autobots or for that matter the Decepticons. There are still a lot of other factors that will determine the full ending than Sam and Mikaelas issues being resolved (Lets not forget this is a Transformers movie after all).
