We have a complain thread....
The Gripes thread was made as a courtesy to apologists at a time when acknowledgment of the decline in quality of Heroes was not socially acceptable in this forum.
Now that the decline is mind-numbingly obvious to even the causal observer, I no longer see any point in continuing to extend that courtesy. You're welcome to make a "Season 3 is the Greatest" thread, and, speaking for myself, I will not add any negativity if it is explicitly positive.
But what you're saying has no basis in any 'rule' or 'mandate' of any sort. This thread is perfectly legit. Feel free to link any rules that say contrary.
This show needs to actually kill about half the cast and get some good story telling back to make this show a great watch again.
I think if Heroes was going to reboot and become a 'new' Heroes, that killing off some of the cast would be necessary. Honestly, I'm not sure the Heroes Universe is really salvageable, after they killed off their Universe origin (the 12) and established that most of the people are science experiments (making it a by-the-book Sci-Fi show), I don't think it can become a critical success again. It really shot itself in both feet the last two seasons. The universe is as broken as the character development, imho.
But if they did kill off half the cast and soft reboot, I'd watch, guaranteed. I think it'd pull a lot of people's interest who've left the show.
But despite the telegraphing of the resurrections this episode, it is far from the least suspenseful show on TV, though I suspect it is the most widely watched unsuspenseful Television show on the air.
