Is It Down Or Gone?

Okay so for about the last year and a half I've used funkyimg.com for my image hosting. But today I hop onto a page with those images and they are gone. In the case of one, its a broken link image. I went to go to the site and I get

This site can’t be reached

funkyimg.com took too long to respond.
Search Google for funkyimg
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Is it down? Or is it gone? Is there any way to know?

It's there but I noticed it's a Russian site, consider how much crap I get from them I have to run virus scans now
