I thought highway robbery was 1.98$ or 2 bucks and change with tax, but your paying 3$ for an apple, I can get anice bag of green apples maybe two for that cost.

I'd put it this way; it's not completely abnormal. Apparently there are a fair number of people in the same situation.

My suggestion is to concentrate on other aspects of your life at this time. You mentioned a couple of areas you want to work on. This is the perfect time to do that.

And as for being nervous speaking to girls, what you need to do is get as much practice as you can. But practice on girls you have absolutely no interest in. Even practice on older ladies. Just get used to talking to women in general. Talk to them everywhere you can and every chance you get. When you're at the grocery store, buying gas, at school, work, wherever. If you mess up and embarrass yourself, don't sweat it. You probably won't see them again, anyway. This way you can get used to talking and by the time you want to talk to a girl you really like, you'll feel a lot more confident.

Think of a few things that you are comfortable talking about; could be something going on locally, could be politics, some hobby you have, some little bit of trivia, comics, whatever. Practice (privately) saying a line or two to see how it sounds or how it could be improved. Then when you go out, bring it up. But try to talk about things that other people can join in with, so you can have an actual conversation. Anyway, just practice. Good luck.

Yeah, I agree...It's all "relative", and like some other people have said, it's hard to designate what's "normal" as to what's "common" and to be "expected" of everyone.

ATP, while it might seem strange to you, I knew many many people like this in college. My friend John who just got engaged to be married was in a relationship for over three months and I knew he hadn't kissed his girlfriend yet. They still haven't sex yet, and won't until their wedding night.

Might seem backwards to you, and to me...well, it's certainly not my thang...but it's was all the rage at my College.
