Is life too short to be tied down to...

well... you're not "tied down to one person" your entire life, unless you're a siamese twin.

Life is too short. However, not having a serious relationship with someone will only make it feel longer, you will actually live a shorter life (married men live longer, statistically).

It is, however, too short to be tied down to no person.

:csad:

Depends on the person really.

If you find someone who makes you happy much of the time you're not wasting your life committing to them for any amount of time. However most relationships are doomed from the start and to a certain extent these were a waste of valuable time, resources, energy, and opportunities you'll never get back.

Depends on the person. Where people go wrong is rushing their decision on whether the person they think is right is truely right.

a lifetime is not long enough to truelly know most individuals.

however i don't want to truelly know a single individual, i just want to graze the surface with as many as i can...

:o

I used to think life was too short to spend it with just one person. Then I met my wife and discovered I had been wrong.

...one person?

Remember though, people are living longer now than they used to, so there is more incentive to divorce and go on to someone else then there used to be. That and divorces are sociably accepted now.

When you're young, you want to go out and test the waters. When you hit your 30's and beyond, you start to discover that you ain't immortal, and you need that support system in life. You hear about guys wanting to go out and tap the ass of every chick you see, but if that was the case, we wouldn't have girlfriends at all. Something about that one female that puts up with us makes us feel all warm and fuzzy.

As with many of your stupid questions that aren't "gamefaqs polls of the day", the answer is, sometimes, it depends on the person.

Feelin' kinda surly this morning, Wil?

Meh. It's not too short if you've lived enough, and you've found someone to get bored with.

It's not a good idea to be tied down in college or high school. That's just asking for trouble.

Quite. This weekend was supposed to be like Christmas.
I ordered a super computer from newegg.com last Sunday AND payed an extra $80 to have it delivered in 3 days AND I took in my white Epiphone to be converted into a fretless last Monday and they said it'd be done on Saturday.

I don't have a credit card so I used my friend's, but they could not accept the idea that he would make such a huge purchase so they froze it, assuming it was a case of Identity Theft......so, he called them and said, "It's NOT! It's my card and I want to order the damn computer!"

Days passed and then it turned out that newegg.com didn't realize it was authoprized now, so he called them.

But, again, it wouldn't go through, on the second try, 'cause apparently they're all ******s.

So I call Parson's Custom Guitars, just to make sure the guitar's ready before I go all the way down there to pick it up, and sure enough, "OHh...*duRrh*.....d00d, I'm glad you called. It's not ready, 'cause...woo, it's a b****. To get the frets out we have to cut into the binding and we didn't want to do that without the go ahead."

They, didn't call me and ask me on Tuesday, or Wednesday, or Thursday, or Friday......they waited until I called, the day it was supposed to be ready, to BEGIN work.

Yeah, I'm surly.
But it has little to do with how The Spawn makes a habit of asking really dumb questions here.
