i think for the season finale
Syler tried to kill ted and he blew up

obviously, he plays a part in it
we'll see if our heroes can prevent it

ya i know he does
and I wanna know if Im close
and IF THEY CAN

unless syler helped him escpaed

Sylar is busy in Texas right now....and he doesn't want to help the supers

Nah I think Ted just made the car explode. But I bet that he and Sylar meet up in the near future and either he teams up with Sylar or Sylar kill him and takes his powers.

Sylar kills radiation guy, takes his powers and destroys the city.

The heroes try to stop them, but fail, since flight, superstrenght, phasing, even time altering, can't defent them from the lethal radiaton that Sylar constantley emmits. Peter can mimic his powers and immunity, but he can't attack him, since Sylar has a better grasp of all on his stolen powers.

New York blows up, and only Peter and Hiro survives. (Peter gets his scar)
In this post apocalyptic future Hiro gains a sword, becomes badass, etc. but they can't seem to stop the seemingly immortal Sylar. So they figure out why: there was claire, a cheerleader, who not only made Sylar indestructable, but had the only power that can counter Sylar's radiation. So decide to risk everything, go back, and try to change one small piece of the puzzle - saving Claire, hoping this will change everythig.

WE shall see.

Well, it ain't gonna happen, since in this timeline Claire is alive.
But you can bet your ass, soon the end of the season there will be a "life would be better without me" cheerleader crisis filler episode, where Hiro, or dream kid or someone will show her the timeline where she died and all the bad **** happened - why Future Hiro had to came back.

Who said that was the moment when Claire died? If you look at Issac's paintings, everything still fits and nothing has changed. We saw Peter laying dead, a cheerleader with her head cut off, etc. We all assumed that dead cheerleader was Claire, but clearly it wasn't. There's no reason to believe that the future Hiro came from isn't still totally in tact.

I think maybe the most important part of that Hiro/Peter talk on the Subway was when he said "Be who we need you to be" and not the save the cheerleader line. Claire is a part of the events to come, but I think it's pretty evident that Peter is the key to it all. And that line from Hiro always puzzled me. What is Peter in the future? Is he something they DON'T want him to be?

There is the painting where the cheerleader is running up on the stairs. Alone.
In the new timeline Peter is with him.

Also, didn't he paint dead Peter after the timeline was altered?

that painting had already been done

Go back and watch it again. Claire runs up the stairs and the first shadow that looms over her is Peter's as he runs in.

It's true the timeline may be the same...

However it's also true that claire is now alive and would not be... apparently, painting the future is absolute... it WILL happen... perhaps the Suresh monologues about fate could be applied here..

Ted gave a specific line when he was being interoggated... something along the lines of 'shoot me, who KNOWS what might happen?' that leads me to believe that Ted gets killed and goes mushroom rather than Sylar, who obviosuly is not a master genious, taking his power an nuking NYC just for kicks. Sylar wants power, not death... Ted getting killed just makes more sense at this point, especially since he's both recurring and expendable.

i think its more along the lines of peter is their leader. future hiro probably needs him to step it up and become what he was destined to be, the leader of the heroes.

no no no no no no no no no no no

not ALL of the paintings came to pass....there was one with Hiro and Ando underneath the bloody Homecoming sign....that did not come pass
here's my reasoning:
if Future Hiro had never told Peter to save the cheerleader, then Peter would have never told Hiro and Ando, Hiro and Ando would have never met Charlie, Hiro would have never went into the past, and the painting would have happened

So maybe when the 6 months end and it comes back to regular time Hiro and Ando are at the homecoming game and something different happens?...hmmm

if Future Hiro had never told Peter to save the cheerleader, then Peter would have never told Hiro and Ando, Hiro and Ando would have never met Charlie, Hiro would have never went into the past, and the painting would have happened

So you're saying that that the paintings depict a future that would happen if future-hiro had not come back?

I think Hiro and Ando may still see the banner when Hiro comes back, if not then it would be stupid to have and the paintings come true except for one. But then if all the paintings come true they NYC will be getting nuked no matter what.

IMO, that moment is when Hiro finally returns to our time, and Ando tells him what Peter told him at the diner. So they both rush off to the school to help if they still can, and they arrive at the school after everything happened. They arrive to the school to see the blood everywhere and freak out before they find out exactly what happened.

That moment can still happen.

i actually think that peter might be the one who causes the bomb, perhaps he is next to ted and absorbs his power and is not able to control it and boom
