Let me get this straight... Isaac the painter who could see the future believed Peter was the bomb. Sylar, who has the power, believes he is the bomb. Peter, who has the power to see the future as well, now believes Ted is the bomb.

Now, if Peter controls himself from blowing up in next week's episode then we can rule out Peter being the bomb. So that would leave Ted and Sylar. Who would be the best possible candidate to blow up NY? Does anyone have any insight as to how they think this show is going to end???? It's starting to get too confusing and I'm tired of being toyed with over and over. However, I think I read an article about the season finale bringing SOMEWHAT of a closure to the season with a hint of a cliffhanger to bridge onto Season 2.

Sylar has already been confirmed for season 2, so that rules him out

I think it will end with Peter being the bomb, Nathan grabbing him by the shoulders and flying up, Peter exploding (but regenerating..) and Nathan sacrificing himself for "the good of mankind"

I also think it'll be Peter in the end. Sylar would die if he were the bomb, and we already know he doesn't because he's still cast for season 2, and Ted's such a non-entity that it would lack any kind of emotional impact if he were the bomb.

well would they die if they explode???? cuase when ted was in calire's house he was in pain because of the bullet he was fine when he uses his powers but either way i still think its going to be peter

if peter does explode its to kill sylar i think its gonna be like the future episode said everyone thought it was sylar but it was peter

so you think were going to go in the future like in 5 years gone???? that is possible but i doubt it i think there going to take a diffrent turn

I think there's a possibilty that the bomb does not go off. However, the very public events that lead up to stopping it will clearly out the Heroes to the public and we'll see next season being an X-Men like theme of the government and scared people starting conflict with the Heroes.

Btw, think of them all seeing the same future and drawing different conclusions like the Seeing Stones in The Lord of The Rings.

Everyone who looks into them SEES the future, or present, as it is. But time and again they draw different conclusions about WHAT they are seeing and make misjudgements based on the misconceptions. It's quite possible this is what we're seeing here.

It could be as simple as they're seeing the future through Ted's eyes, but because their visions are in the first person, both Peter and Sylar think they're the bomb.

That's possible. But it seems odd that Peter wouldn't, like, be there if Ted or Sylar or anyone else were gonna explode. If he were seeing through Ted's eyes, shouldn't he have seen himself among the people reacting to him?

Anyway, I don't think anyone's actually going to explode. If they do, it'll lead to a very dystopic future like the one from last week's episode. Heroes has been doing really well at staying in the real world for the most part. I don't think they would actually destroy all of New York City. It'd remove the show from reality too much, I think.

I dont see why Sylar exploding is ruled out. So what if he comes back next season? Ted obviously doesn't hurt himself with his own power, so even without regeneration Sylar would be fine if he blew up without Claire's power.

We have no idea what'll happen to ted if he fully erupts. he may just blow himself up.

I have a feeling Claire could die at Sylars hands just before the whole thing ends. I rather see Ted explode.
