First Avenger Is THIS the first official image of Chris Evans as Captain America?

as a test costume it looks ****ing horrible...

I agree that the 1st image shown does not look great. However, you really need to keep in mind that what we are seeing may not be the finished product. Also the image has a lot of things working against it. It was taken at a weird angle of Captain America (probably with someone's cell phone), and the original image was very dark and out of focus, then some people went in with art programs and tried to lighten it up to show more details. So, in other words this is a very poor low quality image (of what may not be his costume anyways), shot at a weird angle and I definitely would not trust my opinion of his costume on this image alone.

you know almost as much as the design and construction itself lighting and framing are necessary to make anything in any movie look good. I can't believe people were so quick to judge based on this crap quality snap shot of something thats not even in the movie

Exactly. People are so negative. This is why they dont want to give us anything at comic con.

The world's becoming full of impatient people who want everything perfect and they want it all now. Soon words like 'test', 'practice' and 'training' will be dirty words; with everyone expecting the finished article right off the bat.

This thread and some of the comments made on it have only enforced this viewpoint for me.

True words right there.

Think I remember Johnston saying December.
