It's almost like WWE decided to do crappy booking with the WWE title after such a great lead-up to Summerslam just to stall the title while Cena isn't holding it.

Anyone think with the ending HBK comes out of retirement? Possible match against Bryan and or hhh

I would love to see a Bryan/HBK match but Shawn was pretty sincere in his retirement speech about how retirement matches are usually perceived and keeping his word to the Undertaker.

I'm sure Taker would give his blessing for a match of that magnitude.

I really hope this the end of Bryan/Orton. Just give Bryan something else to do before building him up to win the Rumble.

The WWE has ALWAYS been like this in the Fall time. Cyclical nature if you will.

I'm waiting until Mania time until I go into rant mode. I'm waiting to see how this all shakes out first.

I'm hoping this is a long term plan for him to regain the belt at Mania because this is usually the point where WWE plants the seeds for Mania.

It could be, but in this day and age of shorter attention spans, you can only job the hero so many times before fans begin to lose faith, and lose interest. Not the more hardcore fans like us, but the more casual "WWE Universe" type of fans. (Although I suppose some of us could as well) Screwy ending or not, they are treading dangerous waters with their booking of Bryan. I think he needs to win the title at Survivor Series, or run the risk of "the WWE Universe" starting to look at him as a loser. After all, they are used to guys like Cena and Sheamus finding a way to overcome the odds.

As crappy and absolutely flawed the booking has been, I'm not abandoning hope just yet. Usually, this is the time where WWE plans for Mania so I'm hoping they have something in store for Bryan, either at the Rumble or the Chamber. If I'm wrong, oh well.

Making Bryan lose like that one was the dumbest mistake WWE has made in a good while outside of burying Dolph Ziggler.

It's weird. Lots of people got on my **** for *****ing about Bryan getting jobbed out before NOC. Now, I'm calm about it and most people are losing their ****.

They haven't been clean losses so it's not the end of the world. He does need to score a major victory over someone big like Triple H.

I would love to see a Survivor Series Elimination Match consisting of Team HHH: The Shield, Randy Orton, and maybe either HHH himself or Wade Barrett take on Team Bryan: Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, and The Rhodes Brothers.

wasn't the WWE feeling heat for recent screwy PPV finishes??

didn't they get the memo??

That's really my mindset on all of this. It has to be part of a setup for a bigger payoff. Though I can't believe they couldn't think if a better way to resolve this. I would've preferred Bryan not in a title match for a few months, just battling challenges the Authority throws at him.

I suppose this can lead to Daniel Bryan beating HHH, winning the Royal Rumble and being in a title unification match

Well with Vince likely coming back tomorrow most likely it will be interesting to see where this goes.

Will we see Bryan vs. Orton one more time at Survior Series or are they really going to stick us with Big Show vs. Orton

Well they figured if they threw in a Cena return with a clean win that it would be okay. Of course, they forgot the audience cheered when Cena said he had to leave, and that half of the audience most of the times doesn't like him. :funny:

Like I said earlier, though, this angle has been booked so freaking terribly so far aside from a few really good promos. Big Show being front and center to the overbooked matches. You know a major angle sucks when the most interesting thing about it is the Tag Team division side of it.

I'm really hoping they give D-Bry a title reign then lose before recapturing it at Mania instead of keeping getting screwed on every ppv and title match non-stop for months.

Have him win at Survivor Series and keep a small reign until the Rumble ppv then lose clean at least once before winning at Mania and ending this whole thing

I really hope we don't get Bryan/Orton IV because I know there is gonna be a bad finish. If anything, book a major SS Elimination Match(see: my idea a few posts back).

So far for me, it's only the match outcomes that have been bad, along with Big Show getting too much attention. I was fine with NOC's ending since it smartly kept the feud going. But Battleground's and tonight's were ridiculous.

Agreed. NOC at least had a good excuse to continue the feud. Battleground and tonight are unacceptable. Dare I say TNA-esque.

I'm calm as well. I'm not getting upset unless Bryan gets the shaft at the end. If this becomes about someone else overcoming The Authority at WrestleMania like Big Show, Cena, or HBK then I'll be mad.

Same...I'm disappointed but calm and I HOPE to God that Daniel Bryan doesnt become a sacrificial lamb.
