- Dixie Carter tweeted about her "nephew" Ethan Carter III's Impact Wrestling debut on Thursday:

"Just re-watched @EthanCarterTNA in his #Impact debut. Great job darlin!! So proud of you!!!! XOXO"

- Regarding negative feedback to Thursday's episode of Impact Wrestling, it was written by the crew that was writing the Impact shows leading up to Bound For Glory.

- As seen on Thursday's Impact Wrestling, AJ Styles "walked out" of the company with the TNA World Heavyweight Title. TNA is planning on sending AJ to The Great Muta's promotion in Japan and AAA in Mexico where he will defend the belt and claim to be the real TNA World Champion. This will lead to a champion vs. champion match somewhere down the line.
- Hulk Hogan, who is celebrating the 1 year anniversary of Hogan's Beach Shop this weekend, still has not signed a deal with TNA and has started to put feelers out to see what major bookings he can get. We noted this past week that Hogan has signed to appear at The Big Event convention on November 9th in Flushing, New York.

Hogan is reportedly training for a return to the ring with the idea that if WWE offers him something, he will be ready to go. Hogan has been "training like a mad man" with hopes of getting back in the ring for WWE.

- There has been lots of internal talk about the future of Ryback lately. He has heat on him for several different things.

For one, officials feel he hasn't really developed well in the ring like they were hoping. There's a feeling that Ryback has actually regressed in the ring. He also has heat on him for roughing up several different talents, most recently CM Punk.

Officials also feel that Ryback doesn't present himself well when making appearances for the company. WWE has gotten feedback on several appearances he's made over the past few months where people said he didn't look happy to be there, and this began before they turned him heel. One source described it as Ryback seeming to be annoyed by making public appearances.

It's said the "bloom is off the rose" with Ryback unless he turns things around. Vince McMahon has lost so much faith in Ryback that he may remove Paul Heyman from him so Heyman can move forward.

- CM Skunk was trending worldwide on Twitter last night during SmackDown, at times above Bad Grandpa and other popular topics. CM Skunk was introduced as CM Punk's cousin and lost to Paul Heyman and Ryback.

- We've been covering how Vickie Guerrero plans to go back to college and get a degree in medical administration. She had orientation this weekend and will be starting classes on Monday. She tweeted:

"School orientation went amazing today and I am ready for classes to start Monday! I am ready to conquer my first essay!"

- Former NFL player Shawne Merriman is downplaying reports that he participated in a multi-day tryout at the WWE Performance Center this past week. He tweeted on Friday:

"Cool enthusiasm about me wrestling but I just "visited" some friends at @WWE training facility that's it"

- We noted before that Mattel executives were at the WWE Performance Center on Friday to get a private look at the NXT talents in action. WWE referee Jason Ayers revealed that Mattel also gave the WWE stars a look at the "nuts and bolts of the creative process for WWE toys."

- The angle with The Great Khali, Natalya, Fandango and Summer Rae was done on last night's SmackDown to put a spotlight on the Divas. Apparently they're looking at giving more TV time to Summer Rae. Both Divas have been feuding on Twitter since last night's show.

The Hell in a Cell card is posted! Make your picks.

No offense to respect and attention to Cancer Awareness, but I'll be glad when the pink shirts thing is over.

Good, Ryback stinks.

I wish I could get a screenshot of Daniel Bryan and Triple H on Smackdown. Their expressions were priceless.

This is a pretty damn good CAW of Bray Wyatt

Awesome right?

Amazing show with an absolute ***** main event! Okada/Tanahashi VI is definitely the best match of the year. Hell, it's probably the best match I've seen since Danielson/KENTA from Glory By Honor V Night 2 and probably Misawa/Kobashi in March 2003. I prefer this match over any match WWE has done in the past 10 years.

Agreed, or at least do it like Randy Orton's shirt where it's basically the same but with some pink around the snake instead of a whole pink shirt.

I hope this is true, I've tried to be positive about him but he is just so boring and the crowd don't give a crap about him. Once Punk wins the feud they should job him out to Big E and then put Heyman with someone new after a few weeks off TV to sell the Punk beating.

You have my attention. :funny:

I'll need to check this guy out.

I sent you their match from earlier this year! :argh: :oldrazz: He's very good, probably the best Japanese wrestler out there right now, but there are several better in the WWE.

i always wondered why the audience the wwe has and with the main roster wouldnt a month promoting testicular or prostate cancer be a good idea

Well, considering how many WWE promos end with a promise to shove something up somebody's ass, I guess promoting prostate awareness would be somewhat hypocritical.

LAM! Wrestling has published a review of Kayfabe Commentaries' latest release, Breaking Kayfabe with Marty Jannetty, which features the former WWE Superstar discussing his career and personal life in great detail. The shoot interview, however, is difficult to follow, according to Matthew Byer, who labels it "wildly incoherent."

"Despite the efforts of KC's interviewer Sean Oliver to try and rein in Jannetty, he largely fails, and so what is left are stories that veer off wildly into unrelated or trivial tangents that make for a frustrating viewing experience," states Byer.

Despite his incoherency, Jannetty reveals some interesting information as he explained why he and Shawn Michaels quit WWE in late 1991 (then known as the World Wrestling Federation) just prior to Michaels kicking off his legendary singles career. Jannetty says they found out they were being paid a significantly lower amount compared to other wrestlers for a commercial, and decided to resign from the company. Jannetty indicates that Michaels expected Vince McMahon to meet their financial demands, but the plan backfired, with the organization head telling them they could leave after the Survivor Series. However, Jannetty then indicates that McMahon had no intention on parting ways with Michaels, as this was his attempt to begin their separation.

To get the split in gear, Michaels was "accidentally" kicked in the face during a maneuver initiated by Jannetty on one of The Nasty Boys, which clipped Shawn in the face and led to his elimination at the Survivor Series. Michaels got up after being pinned and began screaming at Jannetty, blaming him for his elimination. Attempting to help settle their differences, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake invited both on his interview segment "The Barbershop" in January 1992. Infamously, Michaels severed his partnership with Jannetty by smashing his friend's head through a window.

Jannetty was originally scheduled to work with Michaels in a feud that would culminate at WrestleMania VIII at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana. However, six months of house arrest after attacking a police officer would prevent the program from happening, and Jannetty was released from the organization in March.

So, I have a mini dilemma. My friends that work at the AAA (the arena where HiaC will be hosted tomorrow night) just offered me free tickets to the show. Normally, I'd jump at the chance especially since I am off on Sunday's from my job.

However I just started a second job that is over night hours. Sunday would be my third day of training. I took the second job as due to an illness, and various injuries I was unable to work for about the past 5 months. So, I am doing what I can to try to recoup that money. And the job pays a decent amount an hour.

The diehard fan in me wants to go to the ppv, especially on the arm! But, the responsible adult in me knows the smart decision is to work. The second job called after I had already considered going to the ppv. I am still unsure if I will keep it, but I want to at least give it a chance. Ugh. :(

Wouldnt it be awesome if TNA could form a temporary partnership with ROH for the sake of this AJ Styles storyline? I could only imagine how intense the "WELCOME BACK AJ! WELCOME BACK!" chants would end up being if he defended it in ROH.

Part of me now kinda hopes Orton wins tomorrow night. I only say that due to Big Show's interference.

Goldberg looks so awesome!! did I spy a new superkick move in that vid??!!

It seems to me that Show and Orton always feud when creative doesn't know what else to do with them. For all the matches they've had their chemistry is not all that great.

Personally, I'd like Show to be used sparingly as a special attraction.

It is! It's a variation of the kick Wade Barrett usually does and it looks really good! It's a strong strike this year.

That is severe high praise, especially since the past 10 years covers HBK's catalog of comeback matches, as well as Angle, Eddie, Benoit, Punk.

Okay I need to see this match.

Oh, that guy! :funny:

Yeah he was good, but best in the world? I don't know about that.

I have to see the match NextNolan's talking about.

The match had some of the greatest psychology and drama you'll ever see in a match. I didn't think they could top their Invasion Attack match, but they did. The selling of Okada's arm was absolutely tremendous and Tanahashi's subtle heel work was great too.
