Well, I started kind of having hopes at first, because it leads you to believe that it'll be a stealth game, which made me think of fond memories of First Blood. Then everything started exploding, and I realized it was just going to be like all those other Rambo movies that I don't care about it. But maybe it'll satisfy fans of those Rambos, I dunno. Trailer was worth seeing how they did the hair, my God Almighty.

Could be decent,I'm thinking some parts will be stealth missions and other parts shoot em up depending on movie scenes the levels are based on

I don't know why but some parts I thought it looked like an on-rails game.

Is that really Stallone's likeness? Or just close enough?

It probably is if they are trying to stick very close to movie scenes from the films..which seems like it

Graphics look not good. I don't think I will waste a £40 plus on it. Could be decent game & I love the Rambo movies though.

I just looked up at the games the developers have done and they have in fact done a few on-rails games, this Heavy Fire series, anyway from the minimal that we've seen so far doesn't inspire optimism at all.

That doesn't look great, but what would I know? [BLACKOUT]I've never seen any of the Rambo movies.[/BLACKOUT]

Was he hiding from The Predator there at the end?

looks like it will be fun to play, but the graphics look horrible

early PS2 era graphics

Well, Rambo 2-4 are pretty much just '80s cheesefests with insane body counts. INSANE. I think two or three had the highest kill count of any film for a long time.

But the first film is gold. It's a rather beautiful man out of place film about a veteran who just can't adjust to regular life. I think it's even probably Sly's best performance. And, interestingly, only one person dies, and it's purely by accident. I highly, highly recommend that movie. If you like '80s action films, the others are good for that, but First Blood is a terrific film all on it's own.

They spent all their likeness rights on the hair.

So will we be going through the game and not kill anyone, just to watch one guy fall out of a helicopter?

As for the PS2 era graphics, I've played a few games like Deadly Premonition (Which is absolutely freaking amazing) and even with the graphics not being standard Ps3/360 it didn't make the game feel any less.

Isn't that how the first movie goes? I haven't seen it in a very long time but no one gets killed but the jerk ass sheriff who was hounding him and he falls out of a helicopter at the end?

No.

It happens about midway through the movie, and the person who dies is one of the deputies. It's that instance, I believe, that pushes the sheriff to get Rambo 'at all costs.'

Looks like stink on toast. I'd be disappointed, but I'm not the least bit surprised.

Because of the sequels, the public image of Rambo is so different from the first film..where it was...a post-Vietnam War drama. He only killed like one dude.

I already played this game.

Doesn't look like the graphics have advanced too much in three decades.

Rambo III for the Sega Genesis is still the best Rambo game out there.

This one looked promising until it turned out to be a FPS. pass.

edit.

Good grief that Nintendo game looked horrible. How Nintendo won the console wars back then is still a mystery.

....Wha?

First Blood Part 2 is also great, IMHO. It's more actiony than the first..But still very solid.

And..This is my favorite part of the movie..

John Rambo is also easily one of my favorite films...Yeah, the body count is REDONK but..I still think it's great. More so the "peaceful" ending.

LOL. Looks pretty damn ridiculous. Altho if Sly is voicing the lead, then ill at least play the thing.

A free DLC expansion was just released for this lol
