Lol :D

Maybe it's because of Social Network but Hammer comes off too classy for Brock.

“I really do like Emma, she’s a pretty special actress and a pretty special person,” Andrew said. “One of the funnier people and one of the more fun loving people I know. I’m so glad that she’s there on set. It’s really fun.”

When asked about putting the Spidey suit on, Andrew said it felt “tight and airy. The material is very cool, it lets air through.”

^^ Hmmm, interesting. What type of spandex let's air through?

That would be Peter Parker and Clark Kent if I had any say.

I don't see any resemblance to Kent there whatsoever. Maybe a better pic would convince me, but certainly not that one.

Parker on the other hand, way past sold.

Andrew Garfield said:
“The actors that excite me and inspire me are not selfish actors, they do it with purpose… they create characters and tell stories with purpose and generosity for an audience… it’s all to serve a story and the themes of the story. That’s what excites me. I look at Daniel Day-Lewis, the detail of his performances and how lived in they are… he truly experiences every character’s reality that he steps into, that inspires me as well. The potential for exploring aspects of yourself that have been covered up for years or aspects of yourself you didn’t realize you had. To step into someone else’s shoes like Daniel Day-Lewis does so fully or like DeNiro does so fully.
Well, Garfield gets points for being smart.

Yep.

Meanwhile, DDL is probably deep in the backwoods of Illinois, living in a log cabin in preparation for Lincoln.

I wouldn't be surprised that he is.

He probably has already grown a goddamn cherry tree.

He probably already went to a cosmetic surgeon and had his ears enlarged.

Heh. DDL self-built and lived inside the log-house his character used in 'The Crucible', so it wouldn't be surprising at all.

Andrew gets points for citing great method actors, though not sure what good that type of inspiration could do for a role such as this. Aside from the physical training, it's hard to prepare so in-depth for Spidey.

If Andrew is good at one thing, it's making us fan boys happy.

Andrew looks great as peter my only worry is how he'll look in the costume, He looks too damn skinny. Its not a nitpick but a concern, probably will have some good muscle padding inside the suit to make it look like he's in great shape though.

I, for one, am glad we're getting a skinny Spider-Man.

Instead of another chunkster like Tobey Maguire.

Maguire is short and stubby.

Spider-man should have long lanky limbs like a spider.

He was actually in fairly good shape by the time that Spider-Man 4 would have filmed.

This is Tobey on the set of a movie a couple months back. Doesn't look flabby to me.

Tobey was in fair shape for all three. He had a double chin in SM3; yes. But that doesn't make him fat, I mean, even radcliffe has a slight double chin in the potter movie.
