I still don't see how he's anything like Superman. He always looks very babyfaced and like a spoiled (but usually friendly) rich kid. Heck, he even reminds me a bit of the main kid from Saved by the Bell.

Not really what I associate with Superman's looks.

He does have a good voice on him though.
