Apocalypse It's that time again to Rank the X-Men movies from best to worst!

Is X-Men: Apocalypse the best X-Men movie ever?

  • Yes

  • Nope

I like that as an abbreviated running order. Off the top of my head I can't think of any inconsistencies arising from doing it that way

Reminded me of this from a while back Is there a "Machete Order" for the X-Men movies?
I kind of feel that The Last Stand is required, especially to appreciate Bobby and Kitty, as both got expanded roles in that film which carried over to the future segments of DOFP. The ending wont carry the same weight without living through the deaths of Scott and Jean. Its not a great film but that also makes you appreciate what comes after that much more

1. Logan
2. Deadpool
3. First Class
4. X2
5. Deadpool 2
6. X-Men
7. Days Of Future Past
8. The Last Stand
9. The Wolverine
10. Apocalypse
11. Wolverine Origins

Hmmm... :thf: Now I think about it, without TLS Logan shouldn't be surprised that Scott is alive in the 'good future' of DoFP. Jean died in X2, but Scott died in X3.

It could just be that Logan is happy to see Scott again. He's not in the future segments of DoFP so you could assume, if he's not with the X-Men, he's another sentinel victim.

Scott is dead in 2023 whether you acknowledge TLS or not.

I don't follow. Why would Logan assume the events in the 70s in Days of Future Past would negate Jean killing Scott in The Last Stand?

I was talking about your suggested order of

Prologue: First Class
X-Men
X2
Days of Future Past

... which misses out TLS.

1. X-Men Days of Future Past (Rogue Cut)
2. Logan
3. X2: X-Men United
4. Deadpool
5. X-Men
6. The Wolverine (Extended cut)
7. Deadpool 2
8. X-Men: First Class
9. X-Men: Apocalypse
10.X-Men: The Last Stand
11. Dark Phoenix
12. X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Is he? When's that said?

(It's possible I'm missing the point)
We see the remnants of the X-Men in Sentinel infested 2023. Scott is not present. It's not confirmed on-screen but that's enough confirmation if you chose to ignore X3

Ah, I get what you're saying. Yes it could be rationalised that way.
