Why haven't we seen a Spawn video game this gen? The tech can finally make something that matches the awesome comicbook.

I think its probably because the last Spawn game was so bad, but im with you. Id love to see another Spawn title.

Or it might have something to do with the fact that people stopped caring about Spawn sometime in the late 90's.

usually superhero movies come attached with their movies. if they ever get a spawn movie off the ground again him sure theyd work on a game.

The comic is still around isn't it? The fact there hasn't been a movie isn't a good excuse. Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, the X-Men, the HULK, and such have all had games without movies attached.

Yeah but you could argue that all of those games are based on franchises with proven staying power. Like you said, Spawn is out of the public eye these days.

It's not 1998, so no, it's not time for a new Spawn anything. Everytime I walk into my comic store and see a new issue of it I laugh and go "they still MAKE this?" Spawn is pretty much every single thing that was wrong with the 90's in one package. An unispired mash up of character (he's just Ghost Rider wearing Spider-Mans black costume for gods sake), done in an EXTREME!!! way, with a flash in the pan artist who's really over-rated writing it, when writing was something he should never have been allowed to do, coming from a company co-founded by Rob Leifeld. It seriously has every element of what mad the 90's suck somehow involved in it. I don't think there are enough people who care about Spawn left to justify sinking the kind of money you need to make an Arkham Asylum calibur game into.

If we don't have Spawn toys, movies, TV shows...then we aren't getting a video game. Don't get me wrong, I'd love one, but, Spawn doesn't carry enough popularity anymore.

I thought they were working on another HBO show? Guess that was scrapped?

Anyone remember the Spawn game for the Dreamcast. I loved that one

Vaguely? Wasn't it like an arena combat game?

I also remember the Spawn game for the PSone. It was the first Playstation game i ever bought.

Mcfarlane's writing the new movie

I wouldn't really call it a Spawn movie. I'd say it'll be a lot like The Departed with Spawn's existence vaguely mentioned.

Well that's what McFarlane keeps saying anyway.
