I enjoyed the pilot, both leads are very likable and play well off each other. The action was solid and the set up for where it can go was nicely laid out, it had all the spy trappings plus chemistry between the leads, hopefully the numbers pick up.

I didn't watch all of this but from what I did watch it seemed pretty solid I just hope it is another Tyler Perry Presents Mr. and Mrs. Smith type situation. :shudders:

Your post here just informed that it was Tish Jones from Doctor Who. I didn't know that, I didn't know Gugu Mbatha-Raw was putting on an accent, but now that's just a little more to credit her with. (Not that Tish Jones is such a memorable character, but I am a big Who fan.) Anyway, I dug the pilot, and this looks like it should be a really enjoyable series. This show's all about the chemistry between the leads and the light, breezy tone, and both of those aspects have been established pretty well. I will be watching.

I love Abrams to death but this show doesn't interest me. The two leads, apart from good looks, they don't seem like they can carry an entire show together.

I thought Boris and Gugu had such a fun way of bouncing off one another that made watching them together feel completely effortless.
