J.K. Rowling Writes First Adult Book: The Casual Vacancy

I think that she and her publisher are behind the "discovery". They're just trying to improve the books poor sales by inventing a more interesting story around her being revealed as the author.

LOL, I love that she did this. I kinda hope she continues to make up pseudonyms for future books, but now I guess everyone will be suspicious of any other books from that editor and publisher, so it probably wouldn't work out so well.

This one got much better reviews than The Casual Vacancy, though, that's for sure.

A JK Rowling crime novel?...

It was getting ridiculously rave reviews and now it seems like everyone is hating on it since they found she wrote it. I personally love it. Great story, great characters, just an all around great mystery

She wrote a great murder mystery novel but under a different name

lol our culture.... "A book written by a little-known first time author? How niche and cool!.... Oh, it's really just a pseudonym for a widely popular author? Well... **** that."

Haters gonna hate.

I imagine JK would be rather good at crime novels seeing as how mystery and detective work played a part in the Harry Potter series.

I'd like to see her perfect her foreshadowing talent. Done nicely in HP, sans RAB.
