Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

I don't think she was bad at all, but I also don't see any reason she should come back.

I've not read the books but I believe Jack Reacher is generally a drifter after leaving the military

If I remember correctly, the writer envisions Reacher as a modern American "knight errant;" as such, his lack of roots are a defining trait.

I think she's been very awkward and weak as Maria Hill... but she was awesome on HIMYM, so I'm hopeful.

Pike was good, but there is no reason for her character to return. This series will benefit from bringing in all new characters in each film. Reacher should be the only constant throughout the series. Maybe...maybe if the series runs long enough, say like 5 films or more, they could have Reacher contact a character from a past film for help and the character could help him out and then go their on way again.

I thought Pike gave two knock-out performances in Jack Reacher.

Pike's story was told entirely in the first and she was great in the film.

I think taking the Mission Impossible approach where it's different directors making their own films is good.

Be Tom Cruise. No Sleep. Repeat.

That man never stops.

I guess Paramount wants to stick for a fall release window for their Jack Reacher franchise. A bit odd they're going for October though.

Awesome stuff. Next year is just getting better and better!

But if anything for Jack Reacher 2 I wonder who the villain will be? I mean Jai Courtney was a pretty menacing villain along with the Zek as the main villain but I just hope whoever they cast as the villain alongside Cruise that it is a pretty convincing villain

DAD was Pike's film debut, and it made me an immediate fan. I mean I don't like that movie overall, but she was really good in it. Also, she doesn't look like she's aged much over the last 13 years either.

That seems to be the thing with Jai Courtney. Cast him as a baddie, and he does pretty dang well. Case him as a hero, and he's wooden as a board.

Really? I think she has changed a lot personally, especially in the face.
