Excellent news on the sequel being announced, I really enjoyed the 1st movie, it was like watching an 80's action movie, it was great. Glad they are getting McQuarrie back as well, I loved his directing on both of the movies he has directed so far.

I liked the first one and it very much ran like a start to a series. It's something he can work on inbetween Mission Impossible movies.

I wonder when this'll start filming. He'll be filming Mission: Impossible 5 in February and then he also has Go Like Hell with Kosinski. To add on to that, he has a comedy with Jack Nicholson and maybe a Van Helsing movie.

Man does Cruise do any more dramatic roles? I don't buy Cruise as a walking action star. I know the movie had action in it but Last Samurai will always be my favorite Cruise movie. Followed by A Few Good Men and then Jerry McGuire. Can't blame him though guess that's not where the money is.

Cruise could easily land dramatic roles. I guess he just loves doing these action movies and entertaining himself. I don't think he really cares about Oscars and stuff like that anymore.

I'd say Jack Reacher is way more of a slow burn mystery than an action film and definitely a great acting performance from Cruise. One of his best if you ask me.

He makes no money doing movies like this. He's in the time in his life where he is doing movies that are fun to him which are action movies. Thankfully for us he is one of the best

I love the Jack Reacher stories, thoroughly enjoyed "Jack Reacher"(One Shot), and I am thrilled that there is gonna be another film, but.......I really wish another actor than Cruise would play the role.

Interesting that they would follow up with "Never Go Back".

Agreed, it had action scenes in it but they werent littered throughout the movie. They just popped up every now and again, and were great.

Just watched this last night as it is now on Netflix.

Thoroughly entertaining. One of Tom Cruise's best perfomances.

That scene with he's on the phone with the sniper..."I'll drink your blood out of my boot." Great stuff.
