I don’t remember how he was on Smallville but he’s been good in other things. Trust me, I think this casting will work.

As I recall... Ritchson was a serviceable, boy scout-y version of Aquaman. And he was a convincing tough guy as Hawk on Titans.

I still very much enjoy the first Jack Reacher movie with Cruise. The second was a misstep with the would-be daughter subplot.

The first one is a solid and tight action thriller.

Looks… okay but it seems like it’s missing that X-factor that makes a show a must-see. Ritchson at least perfectly embodies the character physically. I’m rooting for him here because I loved him in Blood Drive.

The level of violence is jarring for something that's so CBS-y and glossy looking.

Hope it works out for Ritchson. I remember him from Blue Mountain State and whether I like the product or not, I like seeing him get more high profile roles

Yeah, I like him too. I’d love to see him in a superhero role (I know he played Hawk, but I mean a superhero in a movie or show I actually care about). That might not happen after his comments about Marvel a little while back. But if this works out then it kinda works because Reacher is basically a superhero.
