Looks pretty cool. Always liked Jake. Wonder if he'll ever do a comic book movie.

I thought that Moon was decent (sorry but I thought that Spilce was the real Sci Fi gem of the past 5 years) and I think that this trailer looks decent.

I'm gonna guess that the line of dialogue Monaghan is speaking everytime Gyllenhaal awakes on the train "So, I took your advice... It was very good advice." is going to have some greater meaning than it first seems and will probably have something to do with how her character is saved.

Who thinks that this film, regardless if it's good or not, is just a way for Duncan Jones to elevate himself in the business, so he can finance his small sci-fi pic 'Mute'?

read the script. it's not mindblowing, but it should be a decent thriller.

Clint Mansell no longer scoring the film. Duncan Jones tweeted:

Unfortunately we weren't able to work out a schedule so Clint could do the score in the end. He has been a very busy bee.

His replacement is Chris Bacon.

very talented young guy called Chris Bacon, who was recommended by my editor, the legendary Paul Hirsch.

Sad, but hopefully the new guy does a good job.

Moon was amazing so I'm definitely looking forward to this. The cast is solid and it has a very intriguing story.
Sucks that Clint Mansell is not doing the score cause he really did a awesome score for Moon.

Bad poster

The other poster is way cooler/trippy

Looking forward to this. Duncan and Jake?

Looks exactly like Quantum Leap without Ziggy lol

i keep hearing this is not as good as moon and a mis step for duncan

first showing did'nt like it gave it a 6/10 and variety and la times did'nt really give it glowing reviews

In a sense, this movie is not even supposed to be as good as Moon. That's like saying that Transformers 2 is not as good as The Kings Speech. It has a different reason for existing than Moon did.

it kind f feels like a movie for him to get bigger budgets for other projects if this makes good money imo

actually Jones was trying to get Gyllenhaal to be in his next movie but instead JG suggested that he come in and work on Source Code which had just found itself in need of a director. They brought him in and allowed him to implement some of his own ideas despite his hired gun status. While this movie might not be purly Jones's "vision" I think its extremely important for directors to be able to adapt and work with other people. Also all the reviews I've read have said its a solid flick. I'm excited as its likely to be the opening night movie for my local drive in theater.:awesome:

^ interesting should still be good

i felt Mute was his real project he wanted to do he is even making it a graphic novel to get more interest
