I'd really like to see this movie again, it's been #1 on my favorite movies of 2011 for about 7 months now (out of around 80 movies seen this year). It's not a perfect movie, but since I've seen it in theaters three times, I'd say that alone deserves its spot on my top 10 at least, right up there with Rango, Midnight in Paris, Jane Eyre, and X-Men First Class..

I just hope Duncan Jones is involved with it in some capacity, have watched SC and Moon this week and both are superb films, cant decide which one I like more in all honesty.

Was just thinking about this movie today. I really enjoyed it. It wasn't quite what I thought it would be and some of the logic of it doesn't quite follow but its definitely pretty high on my list for the year.

just caught this film very good sci fi drama but am i the only one who preferred the still frame kiss ending?

actual ending felt very tacky and forced to have a happy ending for jake's character

Then again, it's not that much of a 'happy ending' as he will live the rest of his life as another man.

And a lot like Dr, Sam Beckett, he'll never see his own face again. If you think about it...that kinda blows.

I would have preferred the freezeframe scene as the ending. that was just beautiful. the actual ending just kind of left me asking questions, like, not in the thought provoking way either. I was like "and what about his man who's life he just stole."

If it would have ended at the kiss it would be a great film. Now it's just quite good. Hated the over-sugared and hollow ending.

Is there a full version using the full theme? Never heard a bit of the main theme made for the movie in the movie

The ending didnt ruin the movie for me, its still amazing, but yeah, the freeze frame would have been better.
