WB right now trying to figure out how to undo a "finale".

I have a sneaking suspicion WB crapped out a finale to get ahead of the general audience discovering the real Ed Warren was probably a pedophile.

The allegations aren't exactly new.

And according to this article, Lorraine was very, very proactive to avoid such issues coming up in the movie. The thing with them being dead, it is is very easy to gloss over the allegations now.

And according to this article, Lorraine was very, very proactive to avoid such issues coming up in the movie. The thing with them being dead, it is is very easy to gloss over the allegations now.

With the current sitting president being a predator, I'd argue the allegations are more than relevant now and enough for a studio to pump the breaks on future films for the time being.

My first exposure to the Warrens was an interview she did for a documentary included on the Amityville Horror remake DVD. I thought they were hilarious frauds so it's made the film series unintentionally funny to me especially the second one. Add in the extra layer of ick and it all just becomes gross.

I think this series is so far into fiction from real events at this point, that it’s very easy to separate the fictional Warrens to the real life ones.

It’s as “based on real events” as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre lol
