that nice and everything, but ready for some costumes shots

They look weak :(. I hope they get blown up lol.

Thanks JP

I get more excited with everybit of info and pics I see

Looks good.

A lot of them seem fairly young, though. I wonder if they're planning on sticking Goku in some kind of junior division of the tournament, or maybe his school is full of fighters.

God I hope the school isn't full of martial artists... that would be so lame.

better than being a normal high school.... filled with your average highschool spiderman cliches..:word:

World Tournament Junior Division anyone? I can't imagine what else these Martial Art extras could be used as (Other than the Namek-Jins but I think their probably a lot older) these kids will most likely participate alongside with Goku in the World Tournament. Try spotting a Bald Kid they might give an unknown the role of Krillin as an unaccredited role (A cameo of sorts.)

Could it be just a regular fan wearing DB memorabilia or something else?

Hopefully they don't do something really corny at the end of "Dragon Ball". For Example at the end of the film Roshi opens up his own Dojo in the city and takes over 100 pupils "So some day they can protect the earth!".

Just the sound of it makes me nauseous, heh. We need more set pics and intimate news, is the thing. I don't like the way we were left with Goku walking in front of Bumblebee. I'm trying to be optimistic, but I'd be lying if I didn't say it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I require spoilery! NNNNOW!

I'm hoping that that scene when he gets hit by "Bumblebee (lol)" it turns out to be Bulma and thats how they end up meeting each other. That way it would be more faithful to the manga/anime.

Indeed, it would.

Although it won't be out in the mountain woods, where Goku makes his first contact with a human being, aside from his grandfather, like it should be. :csad:

Yeah its kind of disappointing how so many things from the original manga/anime are being changed. But I guess when your adapting it into film you have to remove some things so audiences respond better. What if they have Goku and his Grandfather living in a crappy apartment complex:csad:.

I might break something. Like the neck of Stephen Chow.

lol Yeah Stephen Chow is really starting to disappoint me! He said he was a huge fan of Dragon Ball but it seems as if hes not even participating whatsoever in this film. Its as if he just put his name on the film so people react "Oh thats the guy who stared and directed Kung-Fu-Hustle so it must be good". If Stpehen was a real fan he would have at least written the screen-play/adaptation, But he hasn't even done that instead they got some guy Named Ben Ramsey (Read his film record not good) to write the film along James Wong (not the best director, although I did enjoy the X-Files) *sigh* I rather not think about these things and just try to think positive.

Well, the thing is James Wong has full creative power, as director, and although the film is being co-produced by both he and Chow, Chow retains head production status. He has the right and ability to disagree with and effectively veto Wong's decisions. And if he lets him get away with something like the slummy apartment bit, it'll be Chow that I hold with greater responsibility.

You don't typically hear about what Producers do. It's behind the scenes stuff and post production such as special effects, casting, meeting with the crew and cast, picking some of the music, and etc.

Right, but directors are hand-picked and appointed by producers to head their film, because they trust their creative talent and expertise. But if they find something they don't agree with, they have the ability to override the director's decision.

Right, as much as I think Stephen Chow should direct or write, and as much as I didn't like "Final Destination," I am willing to give James Wong and Stephen Chow the benefit of the doubt UNTIL I see the movie.

Then I can say "You suck." Not now though.
