With respect, I think you probably are. Heath Ledger was unrecognizable under his, and Leto's slim, angular facial structure leaves far less to be done.

I agree. Look at his pictures with Terry Richardson

He's already more Joker like there than Jack and Heath ever looked.

Seconded. The Joker's face is not so hard to do visually that they need computer generated effects over a good make up job to make a great looking Joker. Especially in this day and age with the wonders they can do with make up and prosthetics.

He doesn't need to grin like that. Tim Sale's Joker has the most exaggerated facial features.

Leto needs prosthetics. He simply has no character to his face.

There's a pic of The Joker that I think would work great for Leto, but I can't remember where its from. It's a pic of Joker sitting in a chair drinking some Brandy, and he's in the middle of all this rubble and destruction.

Anybody know what pic I'm talking about?

I don't think he needs any to be honest. The makeup is enough. Ledger was just makeup and no gripes were there. We're not doing Sin City.

Honestly, the only prosthetic work I think Leto could really beneft from is a minor nose-piece. His nose is a pretty soft feature, and anything to make it look a bit more sharp and angular would go a long way.

His eyebrows will need work, though. Something thinner and manicured would be preferable.

I want Leto to get thin in this movie. He should appear to be gaunt and slender.

While a physique similar to Dallas Buyers Club would be absolutely terrifying, I can't encourage someone to put themselves through that experience - especially for a second time.

Agreed. I think it would be distracting if he is under tons of prosthetics and make-up.
