Many say that Magnetos machine was responsible for the triggering of the Phoenix, but it makes sense to me that her using Cerebro for the first time may have played a factor. When Wolverine asks has she ever used it, Jean says for her it takes a certain amount of control and Cyclops added that its dangerous for her. Could this have messed with her mind also?
