What happened to this guy? I know he said he was not going to be around as much, but all his stuff is gone not only here but his Deviant art profile and other websites as well?

Does anyone know what is going on with him? just curious thanks...

I noticed that too, hopefully it means Marvel or DC finally came to their senses and hired him.

he posted a journal about it on his deviant art account.

he said something along the lines that he was drawing just so he'd have something to upload and post, not for the art itself.

here's what it says on his deviantart account:

All I can say is that I'm sorry for the total deletion of all my work and journals here. I imagine some are wondering why I did this and I feel that I owe some explanation to those who do want to know. It really comes down to me not liking where my artwork was going and I just kept creating artwork just to post on DA and not creating the work for other reasons. I got fed up with just posting for the heck of it and I wasn’t pleased with my level of work. As most artists face, I hit a spot in my development where I just needed to change.

So, I had to remove my previous work and let go of the past and move on towards my future. I’m not saying that I won’t revisit my past work. I obviously have all the original stuff to go by. I’m sure at some point I might post here again, but I can’t say when because I need a break from the “post work online” phase.

Once again, I apologize to all of you who faved a lot of my work and enjoyed viewing and/or commenting on my art as well. Trust me, I appreciate all of you and it really is amazing to me how positive the response to my art has been. I thank you for the support.

Hmmmm...yeah, sorry about that. I am creating a separate DA account as an archive for old work. The link to it is below.

Once again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey good luck with everything, and keep up the great work.

Jeremy. Judging from your post i'm going to assume you still troll here. Since i don't feel like trying to remember my DA account and password, I'll post my views here.

All artists go through funks where what they're doing isn't what they want to be doing anymore. either their art isn't evolving enough for their standards, or they just aren't feeling it anymore.

However you've got a solid style that is your own. and your work is amazing. It's important that you don't deviate too far from your style. I don't see how ripping your work off the internet or forcing yourself to stop looking at past pieces could help you in progressing. Having a firm grasp of where you are now artistically, and where you want to go is very important. You're very talented, and I wish you all the best.

Rock on.

Thanks for the thoughts, comments, and the kind words. Oh and yes...I still visit here from time to time.

Take care,
Jeremy
