Has anyone seen this show on MTV?

I haven't seen it myself but I've been hearing a lot of things about the show, particularly about how it's making italians looks bad.

The guido and guidette thing is hilarious.

That one dude had me cracking up talking about pumping his arm for guido pride. Lol.

The dudes alone must go through 3-4 bottles of hairspray a week.

I think Id be ashamed if I was Italian and saw this show on TV.

i dont think this show will last

so much bad response from Caitlin community and tons of sponsors are jumping off of the show not to mention the whole cast seem very unlikable

It isn't making Italians look bad, it is making Guidos look worse, if that is possible. That is like saying that filming a robbery makes criminals look bad. Guidos are idiots and this show is full of them. The better part of Jersey is a waste land of tanned, spikey haired, testosterone strewn drunks. These people don't represent Italians, they represent Guidos. Not all Italians are Guidos. They make themselves look bad. I now understand why people from Jersey get out and make fun of Jersey and why states bordering Jersey make fun of it.

^Man, glad I don't live in New Jersey.

This is an MTV show, it's gonna last.

And MTV seems to get off on showing some of the most ignorant and dispicable people they can find anywhere in the country and putting them in front of a camera, especially if they're young or in their 20s.

Also, I wasn't aware that they would use the word "guido" to describe themselves so openly.

One chick apparently got punched in the face by some dude, looked like she was getting all up in his face for no reason.

Jersey is not like that at all. The better part of Jersey is like any other state. The guido part of Jersey is the Jersey shore (only parts of the northern coast), hence where the show takes place. I lived in central Jersey, near Trenton, for 22 years, and took the train to and from NYC for 3 of those years, and I never once ran into or saw these people.

I'd also like to point out that, according to Wikipedia, 6 of the housemates are from NY, 1 from Rhode Island, and only 1 is from Jersey.

The better part of Jersey is the shoreline. That is where all those d-bags live. That is where all the rich Guido d-bags call home. Of course Trenton isn't known for Guidos. The Jersey Shore is like Orange County. It is where all the rich little prats live. Not all of California is like that. Have any of you seen the Real Housewives of New Jersey? Oh my dear gawd.

IA it gives Jersey a bad name if they think this is typical Jersey

:wow: Damn! It's like her head was about to fall off of her body.

And apparently that's just a small clip of an upcoming episode. I wonder if the producers jumped in when that happened?

Did he punch the guy right behind him as well? Damn, that was a crazy ass hit. O_o

I find it funny that most of the entertainment news outlets that are saying that this show is offensive and so on are the same ones that go out of their way to promote vapid **** like The Real Housewives of who gives a ****. They need to get off their high horses. If you're going to promote one piece of crap, dont condemn another. :o

Thank you. I grew up in New Jersey. That show is not New Jersey. In fact, everyone I knew in NJ is completely annoyed by the whole show.

hilarious show ahah and i cant wait till snookie gets knocked the **** out

MTV says that after that episode airs they're showing a PSA about domestic abuse.

What... the... hell... :cmad:

And people here think it's funny to see some Dumbbell punch a woman in the face like that? WTF is the matter with people?

I hope after that, someone takes that Polo shirt wearing ****** out to the parking lot and hit's him till teeth start popping out.
