BvS Jesse Eisenberg IS Lex Luthor - Part 10

Has it already been speculated that LexCorp will have a hand in Cyborg's origins and that it may be covered in BvS? I remember a football game being one of the first scenes filmed and Vic Stone was a football player.
I hope so.

I feel like the movie does need more than some cool destruction weapon. We want to see the heroes fighting more than just each other. Seeing OMACS, Brainiac, DOOMSDAY, or Metallo would add a lot to the film.

So who do we think Jesse was initially up for when he met Zack?

My bet is whoever Scoot McNairy is playing probably Jimmy Olsen.

Probably a recast Superman, since Cavill is box-office poison and WB wanted to replace him.

Interesting that they didn't originally meet Jesse for Lex and they later tweaked the script for his Lex.

Whichever character is now played by Scoot McNairy, I'm pretty sure of it.

Wasn't there a rumor about Joaquin Phoenix being approached for the role? Was that proven to be bull or...?

I remember thinking it'd be Mark Strong. Someone asked him and he responded with a cryptic "Watch this space."

To tell you the truth, Mark Strong always seemed like such an obvious choice that I never believed they'd consider him.

Yeah I can see your point. I still wish there was something to his response, even if it were for a totally different role.

Don't get me wrong, I like him and I wouldn't mind seeing him in DCEU in a least.

Yes but he wasn't interested. Same for Doctor Strange. He also pulled out of an Amy Adams/Jake Gyllenhaal movie.

He is a picky one with his roles and I think he is not very fond of superhero "genre". He'll probably stay pretty much the only big Hollywood actor that didn't get a shot at superhero film when all this gets over in a decade or two. And, honestly, I can respect that.
