Woohoo love the smell of a new thread

So what are you thinking about Clark?

Justice and stuff.

Yet going nowhere.

Sort of a Zen thing....
Well...at least the racial debate has subsided. That's something. And, the general consensus I've read about Eisenberg is most think he will play a decent Lex. I

So... Where in that Snyder interview in the last thread did he even imply how Lex will look? The question was "how do you imagine a modern Lex?" not "What will Lex look like?" And clearly Eisenberg doesn't look like Pitt/Branson. So where is this panic about hair coming from?

I swear I'm watching a crush unfold in a little-girl-teasing-a-little-boy kind of way. It's happening. Damn, embrace it guys. YOU LOVE JESSE EISENBERG.

Wonder if Commissioner Gordon will be in this. I think Cranston would probably make a better Gordon than Lex anyway.

I wonder if Lex will know Clark is Superman in this....

In regard to the "no hair", it's not there, but it wouldn't surprise me if they keep Eisenberg's hair in the movie.

Is decent good enough, though?
I think it's ambivalence because most don't know what to expect. He's not a bad actor and he was good in The Social Network, so I think people want to give him the benefit of the doubt. It's just hard. As for me...well...I'm in a holding pattern. I'm going to wait and see...

Same. I just wish we had a few more casting choices that were easier to digest. It's been jarring to say the least.

The more and more I watch Eisenberg's interviews the more I love the dude. He has unmatchable wit and is highly intelligent without trying to be. Frankly, I think he's cool as hell and can see him pull off a Lex that works for him.

I was gonna ask the same question.

Even if he has hair in the movie, I think it could be fun if it's just a wig that he wears.

Nowhere. It's a pretty vague and inconclusive interview. It looks like he was just asked the question, didn't know what to say and just said something. Hardly concrete.

I've always wanted to see it confirmed on film that Lex knows who Superman really is. I mean the idea that someone as smart as Lex wouldn't see through Clark is laughable.

I like the idea that Lex approves of the Clark Kent persona because it keeps Superman busy for 8 hours of the day.
