So we finally have our first Lex Luthor quote for the movie, and it's awesome t:

"We know better now, don't we? Devils don't come from hell beneath us, no they come from the sky."

That was a great line by Jesse/Lex.

It can't be, but it kinda sounded like Cavill's American accent done extra-nerdy (the lines also seem like a strange fit for Clark or Supes to deliver), so I will assume it's another Brit doing his best generic American accent.

I'm a bit suprised so many people here don't want to see the mech suit. Personally, the last thing I want is another Luthor who never steps out of the business suit.

I love the mech suit. For me, it's the embodiment of Lex's whole ideology that humans have to be their own heroes.

About Eisenberg's Lex? I liked the delivery. He still has his geeky voice, but it seems that he's talking slower which is all I could ask for.

His slower delivery is refreshing and reassuring, but his voice is still pretty high pitched. I think he'll be good though.

I agree, the slower delivery is butter. I actually thought he was nerdy smooth in this. A geekier Lex than Clancy but in a good way.

I agree. Also, I think he may be talking to Supes here. Maybe the classic window scene?

The more and more I watch the trailer and hear Jesse's voice, it just reinforces my lack of interest in him as Lex. I will most definately give him a chance and watch the film but I've just never been a fan of his as an actor. Maybe it is the voice. I enjoyed movies he was in but wish we had an older Lex in his 40's or so. Still wonder what it would have been like to see Billy Zane as Lex.

I did like him in the Social Network though.
