 And I read that book. But many years ago tho :O

It's from Lex Luthor: Man of Steel.

Thanks TNN22. Like John I read it too but forgot that line. It's surprisingly not a fave story of mine. I like bits of it, but as a whole I just found it off putting and confusing.

The characterization of Luthor is priceless there tho.

Agreed. Azz nails much of what a modern Luthor should be.

Luthor isn't petty about **** like that. He's petty about **** like someone failing him in a scheme he's got going. He doesn't really care about materialistic stuff ironically.

Exactly. I hate the idea of Lex just killing anyone because they got a drank on his clothes..
If he really wanted to get back at them for something he would drain their bank account or buy their home or something.

I got a feeling without reading the "spoilers" of BadassDigest (don't want to read them :argh:) that Lex Luthor may be the cause why Batman and Superman fight on the movie

I am very interested in seeing the Luthor/Wayne dynamic in the film. I think Lex should be one to see through the Wayne facade some what. He doesn't have to figure out he is Batman, but I think it's reasonable to have him understand that there is more to Wayne than just him being a playboy that dabbles in business. He should see how despite Bruce's public persona, he's actually a brilliant businessman in his own right.

I think if that happens his identity will be the next that Lex may find out. That curiosity may lead him to research and then tying loose ends and connecting some events and coming to the conclusion that Bruce is Batman.
I wonder if in this universe they would put this situation of Lex Luthor finding out that Bruce Wayne is Batman. But he doesn't expose him, he has bigger plans to use that. :hmm

"I am the eggman. They are the eggmen. I am the walrus."

I imagine that Lex is the type that makes unannounced visits to his various labs and factories, what have you, with his coterie in tow. He goes from place to place and criticizes the scientists and engineers in his employ about everything, and on the spot comes up with a brilliant solution to any of their problems after dressing them down, then like a hurricane he blows on to the next thing on his agenda while basking in the adulation from his various assistants and the like that follow him. I say, make Luthor have a Jobs/Gate/Branson type cult of personality about him. That's of course for public consumption, the persona of the brilliant business man and scientific genius. When the peanut gallery is gone and it's just Luthor and his inner circle, say like a Mercy Graves or a Doctor Happersen ect. the true Lex comes out.

Something like this would be great:

I believe you posted this before in some thread. I don't recall commenting then, so I will do so now. I'd like to see something like this, especially the first picture (page).

I like that the fact that he actually becomes disgusted of someone telling him he can't do something.

Still looks took young for me even with the shaved noggin.

Jesse talks about going bald for Batman V. Superman with Seth Meyers.

I think this might be the first time that someone called this movie a Superman movie.
