Jim Lee on JLA?

I cant wait (which may be a problem cuase it looks like he's never gonna finish ASB&R) but I can aknowledge that his art isnt perfect I just like his style

I was only joking in my first post endorsing Quitely. Since then, it's been nothing but cold hard factopinions.

Well, sorry to deprive you two of well, me, but I only fraternize with Quitely fans. I'm sorry for you. I feel like I get so much me, and that everyone else already gets so little, so it's really hard to deny you guys your portion. But it has to be this way. Goodbye lovers:csad:

I'll still write about you in my journal. :(

I wish I could say the same.:csad:

I may still touch myself to Darthphere though.:csad:

Dont' worry, sometimes I cant stop touching myself.

Putting Jim Lee on Justice League of America is a smart move. Whether or not you like him, I think the fact is undeniable: he is DC's biggest artist. Putting him on a book such as Justice League of America is showing that DC wants this book to be their biggest book, just like New Avengers is Marvel's biggest book.

My theory who the writer will be: Geoff Johns. He is DC's biggest writer and he has mentioned that he does want to work with Jim Lee someday.

Think about it. Geoff Johns + Jim Lee + Batman + Superman + Wonder Woman + Green Lantern + the Flash + Black Canary + other heroes (my guess, DC will put more bigger names on the roster such as Green Arrow, Firestorm, Zatanna, etc) = one big freaking huge ass book that will sell freaking HUGE

I'm not saying that the title needs saving. Hell, I loved the first issue. I'm just saying that Geoff Johns + Jim Lee + Justice League of America = $$$$

Can't argue with that.

Its idiot like me that cause that too. Not particularly a fan of either of the two creators but I'd buy it cos it would be big and I'd like to have an opinion on it.

Dude, everyone knows Mahnke is the best on JLA... his arcs were so frickin cool...

If it is JLA, I wonder if it will be tied into that "tomorrow" scene from JLA #0 he did.

This might be good,i hope its better than Jim Lee`s run with Superman.I remember the art,but the writing was a dissapointment.

It's a damn shame that when Jim Lee has done runs on Superman and All-Star Batman and Robin the writing sucked

Because Geoff Johns needs another title to write right? And needs to have complete control over the JLA and JSA.

No geoff until he drops at least two books. Seriously.

jim on JLA is obviously a smart move, and something a good deal of fans have wanted to see. Maybe Grant Morrison and Mark Waid could team up to write it, as long as they keep in line with what meltzers establishing with this new era

I wouldn't mind Morrison going back to JLA, he's also a big DC writer right now. Greg Rucka would also be good.

Yeah, me neither. I get all that storytelling phooey, but you need a good style too. :\
Eh, he's.....different. His style is very reminiscent of Frank Miller. IMO I've always preferred him on books like "The Authority" or things that are not so mainstream since his odd style tends to fit the odd nature of the books. But I thought he worked for New X-Men.

I think this is a brilliant move and I also think that For Tommorrow was one of thr best Superman Stories written. It was very well done. This is only good news for me I love Jim, Hush was amazing IMO and I just think his art ands a very different element to a story. I just really like it.
