Anyone else familiar with this ****? I'm not sure what it's like in the rest of the world, but growing up in Canada it's become impossible for me to ignore the ridiculous series of grunts and half-words that jocks (primarily hockey players here) have turned into a form of communication. I've had the privilege of being treated to words like "shmir", "mir", "hoots", "tots", etc. They sound like ****ing idiots and I fail to understand the appeal. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Eh, the majority of kids here all talk like that. Not only that, but they have their own completely different set of slang. "sa" "tssaaa" "right stupid kid, saa"
stuff like that. Mostly just Sa.

What do those words mean?

shmir and mir, as far as I know, mean nothing. They're just primitive sounds use to take up time that could be used thinking about something as simple as an actual word to expel from their face-holes. Hoots means women, as in "Shmir, let's go pick up some hoots with big tots." Tots, I'm sure you can guess means ****, which makes no sense whatsoever. I mean, why not just say ****? It's the same number of letters and the words are so similar anyway. Tots is even more difficult to write on page as I'm sure we can all agree that it's easier to write a straight vertical line than it is a circle.
